Join Mazi Adoption and Family Services for Sip & Stock, a casual community gathering celebrating National Adoption Awareness Month and the children, youth, and families impacted by foster care, adoption, kinship care, and permanency.
This year, we’re inviting our community to help us restock the Connection Collective — Mazi’s Foster Closet.
A Closet Built for Connection
Founded in 2021, Mazi’s Connection Collective was one of the first foster closets in Chester County. The Collective was created to provide children and families with practical resources while also creating something just as important: choice, comfort, dignity, and normalcy.
Today, Mazi supports up to 500 clients at any given time, and our Foster Closet continues to be an important resource for families navigating the unique needs that can come with foster care, adoption, and kinship care.
Our shelves are getting empty and that’s a good thing. It means families are using the resource.
When children visit the Collective, they have the opportunity to shop and choose items for themselves. For caregivers, access to needed clothing, supplies, and other essentials can help ease the financial strain that often comes with caring for a child.
Sip & Stock is our opportunity to keep that resource ready for the next child and the next family who needs it.

Bring a Thanksgiving meal-kit item to support a family this holiday season
Explore the Connection Collective and learn about the impact of community donations
Meet Mazi staff and learn more about foster care, adoption, permanency, and ways to get involved
Enjoy refreshments and connect with other members of our community
Visit our Charm Bar with Yay Diff — free bracelet and charm to the first 40–45 attendees!
You Don't Have to Foster or Adopt to Make a Difference
There are many ways to support children and families in your community.
Donate an item. Attend the event. Share our Wish List. Learn about foster care and adoption. Connect someone to Mazi.
Every action helps strengthen the network surrounding children and families.
Can't attend? You can still participate. Visit our Connection Collective Wish List and send needed items to the Mazi office. Even more, Mazi Adoption and Family Services is teaming up with Operation Warm to give brand-new coats and shoes to kids in the foster, adoption, and kinship care communities. We are also raising funds to help provide FLY:FWD sports bras for our female athletes. Visit Operation Warm Team Up with Mazi or Text MAZI to 44321.
